This policy describes how the operator of Hotel Zimní stadion Náchod processes the personal data of website visitors and accommodation enquirers. We act in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

2. What data we process and why
2.1 Booking enquiry (contact form)
Data: first name and surname, e-mail, phone, arrival and departure dates, number of guests (adults and children), room type and the text of your note.
Purpose: handling your non-binding enquiry and communicating about your stay.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract; and, if an accommodation contract is concluded, its performance.
Retention: for the time needed to handle the enquiry; enquiries that do not lead to a stay are deleted within 6 months. If a stay takes place, data is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the period required by accounting and tax law.
Providing the data is voluntary; without it, however, we cannot process your enquiry.
2.2 Legal obligations related to accommodation
When a guest is actually accommodated, law (in particular the Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals and the local accommodation-fee ordinance) requires us to keep a guest register. This takes place at the hotel reception, not via this website. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
2.3 Website operation and security
The hosting server automatically logs technical data (IP address, date and time of access, browser type) to ensure the operation and security of the website. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in the secure and error-free operation of the website.
2.4 Cookies
Details about cookies can be found in Section 6 of this policy.
3. Recipients of personal data
We do not pass your personal data to third parties for their own purposes, nor do we sell it.
If you consent to displaying the embedded map, the related technical data is processed by Google – see Section 6.
4. Transfer to third countries
We do not ourselves transfer personal data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. If you allow the Google map to load, or when external fonts and icons are loaded, technical data (in particular your IP address) may be transferred to Google. Google declares an adequate level of protection based on standard contractual clauses and the EU‑US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Your rights
In relation to your personal data you have the right:
- of access to the data and information about its processing,
- to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- to erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
- to restriction of processing,
- to data portability,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- to withdraw consent at any time (e.g. cookie consent), without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing,
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can exercise your rights by e-mail at hotel.zs@seznam.cz or in writing at the premises address. We will usually handle the request within one month.
The supervisory authority is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place during processing.
6. Cookie policy
